I love the rustic look of exposed brick, they have a kind of French farm house meets New York loft appeal. I have noticed a lot of before and after images featuring the removal of plaster sheets to return the natural look of brick and the more and more I look at them, the more I am won over. What do you think? Fan an Fail?
I think I'm going to have to go pinteresting some of these photos!! and that is so cool that you've been to luzern! i do serious credit card damage all the time, haha - it's so expensive here!!
Haha! After the realliving home that had the exposed brick wall i have been contemplating a post on them! These are great images! Great post Miss.. LOVING exposed brick major.. 5 stars.. x
I love it but in small doses to increase texture (ie a feature wall or roof, as in some of your gorgeous pics...although as a side note I am not sure how I would sleep soundly under half a taxidermied ostrich).Particularly love it when it's been scrubbed of paint and some remains. Love this post Miss Walker!
OMG I was planning an exposed brick post too!!! :))
ReplyDeleteLove it! None of these images are in my file...yet!
