Exposed: Brick (& Decorate Book Giveaway!)

I love the rustic look of exposed brick, they have a kind of French farm house meets New York loft appeal. I have noticed a lot of before and after images featuring the removal of plaster sheets to return the natural look of brick and the more and more I look at them, the more I am won over. What do you think? Fan an Fail?

Don't forget about Miss Walker's Decorate Book Giveaway! xoxo

And I too like the rustic walls, however, I'm not so keen on them in office areas but the picture with the oxblood sofa is right up my alley.. :)

  14. I love it but in small doses to increase texture (ie a feature wall or roof, as in some of your gorgeous pics...although as a side note I am not sure how I would sleep soundly under half a taxidermied ostrich).Particularly love it when it's been scrubbed of paint and some remains. Love this post Miss Walker!
