Colour will always be incorporated into the spaces I live in and work with. Colour always puts a smile on my face. I love almost any hue against white, as you play with colour more, you learn what works. Ruthie Sommers, one my fav Designers, couldn't have said it better..."The more I decorate the more I learn about introducing a complementary colour somewhere, such as throwing a turquoise pillow in an orange room. Always test many colours in every single part of the room". What colours have you got happening in your home?
Love it..that was some serious eye candy...at the moment I have a black , white and grey theme happening throughout certain parts of the home..and then there is always a vibrant colour added as a fourth colour..either green, orange or blue..just enough pop of colour to jazz up the place. : )
I def agree with you, colour will always be with me! At the moment I have the neutrals worked in with blue, red and yellow in different areas around the house, although I'm wanting to add some orange as well. It's pink and green in my little girls room and silver, green and blue in my son's room. Great post those pics are serious eye candy xx
Seriously loving that green chair in the first pic! Colour is a tricky master though, it's too too easy to over-do. It certainly takes practise to get it right.
fabulous images your so right about colour as well i love it. colour can lift the mood cant it. I recently decorated my house all white & magnolia so it would sell (it did in under 2 wks) but I cant wait to actually move now & get my paint brush out & get some colour back into my life white walls are boring me to tears! thanks for the follow ive returned the follw. Have a great day :)
Happy post! Colors always, always put a smile on my face, too. Love all the pictures!
Anyway, I have been looking for flip clocks yesterday and found a few online that looks exactly like the one in your fourth picture. Such a coincidence!
i think spring is the ideal season to bring some color into your home. if you are afraid of color, well the white interior with the green eames chair is a fabulous alternative, just some accents and it looks brighter already. love this post because it is so divers, fabulous inspiration
